JIG Announced Normalization Procedure for Class XII Board Marks 2013

The JEE Interface Group (JIG) in view of the large scale variation in examination has decided that for 2013

The JEE Interface Group (JIG) in view of the large scale variation in examination has decided that for 2013, 50% of Boards marks will be normalized by equating percentile amongst different boards/ examining bodies and anchoring them to All India JEE-Main Percentiles, and 50 % be normalized by equating each Boards/ examining Body’s percentile with JEE (MAIN) percentile marks of respective Boards/ examining bodies.

The subjects that will be used for normalization are

  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Computer Science (any one)
  • One Language
  • Any subject apart from above mentioned
