Join Indian Navy University Entry Scheme (UES), Course Commencing on June 2019

Indian Navy invited application from Unmarried Candidates for entry as Permanent Commission (PC) officers in Executive (GS) Branch and Short Service Commission (SSC) officers in Executive and Technical Branches of the Indian Navy under University Entry Scheme (UES). Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Course Commencing from June 2019. The candidates eligible for the post can apply in the prescribed format on or before 30 July 2018.

Important Dates:

• Starting Date of Online Application: 30 June 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy University Entry Scheme (UES)

Executive Branch - General Service

• Streams in BE/ B. Tech -  Any Stream of BE/B.Tech.
• Gender - Male
• PC/SSC - PC & SSC

Executive Branch - IT

• Streams in BE/ B. Tech - Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering and Computer Engineering
• Gender - Male
• PC/SSC - SSC

Engineering Branch

• Streams in BE/ B. Tech - Mechanical, Marine, Instrumentation, Production, Aeronautica, Industrial Engineering & Management, Control Engg, Aero Space, Automobiles, Metallurgy, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & control
• Gender - Male
• PC/SSC -  SSC

Electrical Branch

• Streams in BE/ B. Tech - Electrical, Electronics, Tele Communications, Electronics and Communication, Power Engineering, Control System Engineering, Power Electronics, Avionics,Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control and Instrumentation
• Gender - Male
• PC/SSC - SSC

Naval Architecture (NA)

• Streams in BE/ B. Tech - Mechanical, Civil, Aeronautical, Aero Space, Metallurgy, Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Marine Engineering, Ship Technology, Ship Building, Ship Design
• Gender - Male & Female
• PC/SSC -  SSC

Physical Standards:

• Height and Weight-  Minimum height is 157 cms for Male and 152 for Female
• Eye Sight - The minimum acceptable vision standards are 6/12, 6/12 for Executive (General Service); 6/24, 6/24 for Electrical/ Engineering Branch; and 6/60, 6/60 for IT/Naval Architecture

Selection Process for Indian Navy University Entry Scheme (UES)

• Candidate will be shortlisted on the basis of his/her preference for the entry, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria for particular entry. In case of excess candidates IHQ-MoD (Navy) reserves the right to further shortlist and fix cut-off percentage
• Candidates shortlisted during campus interview will be called for SSB interview at Bangalore/Bhopal/Coimbatore/Visakhapatnam/Kolkata between Dec 18 to Apr 19. Selected candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview on their E-mail as provided by candidates in their application for
