Considering both are coming right after one another, students will have vacations from October 2 to 21, 2026, and schools will reopen across the state after the vacations from October 22, 2026 onwards.

Along with the Dasara holidays, schools will also be closed on October 26, 2026, on the occasion of Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti. The school holidays will be applicable for all government, private, and unaided schools in Karnataka.
