• Educational Qualification

• Senior Medical Officer / Specialist in General Medicine: Must have MBBS Degree with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in General Medicine from a University established by law in India.
• Senior Medical Officer / Specialist in General Surgery: Must have MBBS Degree with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in General Surgery from a University established by law in India.
• Senior Medical Officer / Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology: Must have MBBS Degree with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from a University established by law in India.
• Senior Medical Officer / Specialist in Anaesthesiology: Must have MBBS Degree with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Anaesthesia from a University established by law in India.
• Senior Medical Officer / Specialist in Paediatrics: Must have MBBS Degree with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Child Health from a University established by law in India.
• Senior Medical Officer / Specialist in Ophthalmology: Must have MBBS Degree with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine from a University established by law in India.
• Senior Medical Officer / Specialist in Orthopaedics: Must have MBBS Degree with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma Orthopedic from a University established by law in India.
• Senior Medical Officer / Specialist in ENT: Must have MBBS Degree with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Laryngological & Otology from a University established by law in India.
• Senior Medical Officer / Specialist in Dermatology and Venereal Diseases (Skin): Must have MBBS Degree with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Skin Dermatology & Venereal Diseases from a University established by law in India.
• Senior Medical Officer / Specialists in Radiology: Must have MBBS Degree with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Medical Radio Diagnosis from a University established by law in India.
• Senior Medical Officer / Specialists in Psychiatry: Must have MBBS Degree with Post Graduate Degree /Diploma in Obstetrics Physchological Medicine from a University established by law in India.
• General Duty Medical Officers: Must have MBBS Degree from an University established by Law in India. The General Duty Medical Officer recruited under these rules shall work in the rural areas for a minimum period of six years.
• Dental Health Officers: Must have BDS Degree from a University established by Law in India. The Dental Health Officer recruited under these rules shall work in the rural areas for a minimum period of six years.
