Karnataka Post Graduation Common Entrance Test 2012 is being conducted for approximately 12,000 odd MBA and PGDM seats in various colleges in Karnataka.
If we go through the statistics, there are approximately 236 colleges in which aspirants can take admission after they clear the Karnataka MBA PGCET 2012. Total no. of seats are 11,795 approximately.Out of this, 25 colleges are government colleges which correspond to a total of 761 seats. Top aspirants will obviously wish to take admission in government colleges.
Private colleges have been divided in two categories:
Private Colleges with 50% seats reserved for admissions through KEA PGCET 2012 having a total of 9390 seats in 191 colleges.
The other category is of Private colleges with all seats reserved for admissions through KEA PGCET 2012. This category has 20 colleges and 575 seats.
Karnataka PGCET has maximum seats for MBA and PGDM Aspirants when compared to other exams like MCA, MTech etc.
