MP Power Transmission Company Limited (MPPTCL), a wholly owned Govt. of Madhya Pradesh Undertaking, invites applications from the eligible candidates for filling up the post of in various power transmission companies of MPPTCL.

Name of the Post & Number of Vacancies

• Junior Engineer (Electrical- Distribution): 120 posts (35 Indore, 30 Jabalpur, 55 Bhopal)
• Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 20 posts (Bhopal only)
• Assistant Engineer (IT- Distribution): 160 posts (70 Indore, 40 Jabalpur, 50 Bhopal)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Junior Engineer (Electrical- Distribution): Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a University/ Polytechnic College recognized by University Grants Commission or AICTE with:
  
  a) Minimum 65% marks in aggregate in case of Unreserved / OBC candidates of MP Domicile and candidates of all categories not having M.P domicile.
  
  b) Minimum 55% marks in case of SC/ ST category candidates having MP domicile.
  
  c) Candidates having higher qualification ie graduate degree in "Electrical Engineering" or "Electrical and Electronics Engineering" may also apply.
  
• Assistant Engineer (Electrical) and Assistant Engineer (IT- Distribution): BE/ BTech or any equivalent degree in "Electrical" or "Electrical and Electronics" Engineering and those applying for Assistant Engineer (IT) should be having BE/ BTech or any equivalent degree in "Information Technology" or "Computer Science" Engineering from a University recognized by University Grants Commission with:
  
  a) Minimum 65% marks in aggregate in case of Unreserved/ OBC candidates of MP Domicile and candidates of all categories not having MP domicile.
  
  b) Minimum 55% marks in case of SC/ ST/ Handicapped category candidates having MP domicile.

Age Limit (as on 31 July 2011)

• Junior Engineer (Electrical- Distribution): Minimum 18 years; Maximum 30 years
• Assistant Engineer (Electrical) and Assistant Engineer (IT- Distribution): Minimum 21 years; Maximum 30 years

Pay Scale

• Junior Engineer (Electrical- Distribution): Basic pay of Rs 9860 + other allowances as applicable
• Assistant Engineer (Electrical) and Assistant Engineer (IT- Distribution): basic pay of Rs 15600 + other allowances as applicable

Application Fee: Application fees for unreserved/ OBC candidates of MP domicile and candidates of all categories belonging to other States shall be Rs 300 per Company per candidate.

Selection Procedure: The selection for each of the above post will comprise of written examination followed by an interview. From the merit list, applicants shall be allocated companies based on their order of preference (as indicated in the application form).
