Why Management?

Over the years, management has emerged as the most preferred career choice among the young students. Before you decide to pursue MBA or management as a career choice, it is important to understand why you want to pursue Management as a career option and what are the different career options available to you in this domain?

The key fields or sub-domains within the field of Management include Finance, Marketing and International Business. In addition to this, there are several fields in which you can carve out your career.

B-schools for MBA& How to join them

Today, with the rising demand for quality MBA courses, the B-schools which offer these management programmes have also multiplied. When it comes to Management, the first thing that comes to one’s mind are the IIMs which include premier B-schools like IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode, Shilong& other new IIMs.To join MBA programmes offered by the IIMs, one has to take up CAT MBA entrance exam i.e. Common Admission Test.

If you are going for the next league of B-schools i.e. not exactly in the top 20, you can expect jobs that offer salary in the range of Rs10 Lakh to 20 Lakh.
