Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a Miniratna company, is a subsidiary of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC). MRPL, Mangalore issued notification inviting applications for filling up 17 posts of Deputy Manager -Finance (1 post), Workman-Chemical (9 posts), Workman-Mechanical (4 posts), Workman-Electrical (1 post) and Workmen –Instrumentation (2 posts) under Special recruitment Drive for SC/ ST candidates – III Attempt. Interested and eligible candidates are required to send their applications along with copies of all the required certificates by Post/ Courier so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 6 June 2014.

1. Dy. Manager (Finance): 1 post
Grade: E3 Grade
Maximum Age limit: 40 years
Pay Scale: Pay scale of Rs.32900- 58000
Qualifications: CA/ ICWA/ MBA with specialization in Finance and at least 7 years relevant post qualification experience.

2. Workman (Chemical): 9 posts
Grade: W1 Grade
Maximum Age limit: 39 years
Pay Scale: Pay scale of Rs.12800- 35000
Qualifications: Diploma in Chemical Engineering with minimum 5 years relevant experience.

3. Workman (Mechanical): 4 posts
Grade: W1 Grade
Maximum Age limit: 39 years
Pay Scale: Pay scale of Rs.12800- 35000
Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 years relevant experience.

4. Workman (Electrical): 1 post
Grade: W2 Grade
Maximum Age limit: 35 years
Pay Scale: Pay scale of Rs.11900- 32000
Qualifications: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 2 years relevant experience

5. Workmen (Instrumentation): 2 posts
Grade: W2 Grade
Maximum Age limit: 35 years
Pay Scale: Pay scale of Rs.11900- 32000
Qualifications: Diploma in Instrumentation/ E&C Engineering with minimum 2 years relevant experience

[NOTE: Age will be reckoned as on 31 May 2014; The maximum age given above has factored the age relaxation meant for SC / ST i.e., 5 years. There will not be any further age relaxation over and above the maximum age limit mentioned against each post.]

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of their performance in the written test and Interview.
Candidates applying for W1/ W2 grade positions shall be required to appear for a written test in the concerned discipline. Those who qualify he written test will be called for an Interview.

Selected candidates will be on Probation for a period of one year.

Location of the job is at Mangalore. However, employees are liable to be transferred to any place in India or abroad, within the same Organisation, or one of the group companies of ONGC or any other Organisation.

Travel Allowance: Candidates called for Interview/written test will be reimbursed Traveling Allowance on production of actual tickets by the shortest route.
