National Institute of Construction Management and Research Institute (NICMAR) has invited applications from various candidates to apply for its On-Campus Programmes for the year 2016. All interested and eligible candidates can apply through proper channel latest by 11 April, 2016.

The National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR), has been constituted as a non-profit organization with the express objective of engaging in activities for the promotion of education, training, research, professionalism and skill formation at all levels of the construction and other allied industries.

Courses offered in NICMAR On-Campus Programmes

Following courses are offered by National Institute of Construction Management and Research Institute (NICMAR) under On-Campus Programmes;

I. Two Year Post Graduate Programme in Real Estate and Urban Infrastructure Management (PGP REUIM).

II. Two Year Post Graduate Programme in Infrastructure Finance, Development and Management (PGP IFDM).

III. Two Year Post Graduate Programme in Advanced Construction Management (PGP ACM).

IV. Eighteen Months Post Graduate Programme in Management of Family Owned Construction Business (PGP MFOCB).

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Post Graduate Programmes:

1. Real Estate and Urban Infrastructure Management (PGP REUIM): Bachelor's degree in Engineering in any discipline / Architecture / Planning with minimum 50% aggregate marks

2. Infrastructure Finance, Development and Management (PGP IFDM): Bachelor's degree in Engineering in any discipline / Architecture / Planning with minimum 50% aggregate marks

3. Advanced Construction Management (PGP ACM): Bachelor's degree in Engineering in any discipline / Architecture / Planning with minimum 50% aggregate marks

4. Management of Family Owned Construction Business (PGP MFOCB): Graduates in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks and belonging to a family having construction business

Selection procedure for NICMAR On-Campus Programmes

Applications are scrutinised and eligibility is established on the basis of documents submitted. Eligible candidates will be invited to appear for the selection procedure, which comprises of NICMAR Common Admission Test (NCAT), Personal Interview (PI) and Rating of Application (RA).

In place of NICMAR Common Admission Test (NCAT) Candidate may also submit CAT / GATE / GMAT / CMAT scores secured after January 01, 2014.

How to apply for NICMAR PG Courses

Online Mode:

Eligible candidates can apply online on the official website of the National Institute of Construction Management and Research Institute (NICMAR) within specified time and need to pay application fees of Rs.1900 for one programme and Rs.2500 for more than one programme through proper channel.

Offline Mode:

Candidate require to download  the  application  form from  the official website and needs to send filled application form along with the enclosures with application fee of Rs.1900 for one programme or Rs. 2500 for more than one programme by Demand  Draft in favour  of "NICMAR, Pune". The application should be sent by Registered Post / Speed Post / Courier to; The Head Admissions, National Institute of Construction Management and Research Institute (NICMAR), 25 / 1, Balewadi, N.I.A. Post Office, Pune - 411045, Maharashtra.

NICMAR Common Admission Test (NCAT) Examination Pattern

NICMAR Common Admission Test (NCAT) will be of 150 marks. There will be three sections; Quantitative and Analytical Ability of 60 marks, Data Interpretations of 30 marks and Verbal and General Ability of 60 marks.

Admission under Sponsored Category

A total number of 5% of the total students admitted, may get admission under Sponsored Category but those candidates must fulfil some requirements of NICMAR.
