Ministry of Railways Notified Recruitment against Scouts & Guides and Cultural Quota 2014-15

Ministry of Railways invited application for recruitment against Scouts & Guides and Cultural Quota to 05 Grade-III posts in the Integral Coach Factory, Chennai. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 31 January 2015 (14 February 2015 for far flung areas).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

1. Technician Grade-III: ITI/Act Apprenticeship in Fitter, Welder, Painter, Electrician, Carpenter trades.
2. Junior Clerk/Technician Grade-III:  Matriculation or its equivalent with 50% aggregate (mere pass is sufficient for SCIST). Those persons selected as Junior Clerk are required to possess proficiency In Typewriting of 3o WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi within a period of Two years from the date of appointment and their appointment will be provisional subject to acquisition of the prescribed typing qualification within the stipulated period.

Pay Scale

1. Technician Grade-III (Scouts & Guides): Grade Pay Rs.1900 in Pay Bank Rs.5200-20,200
2. Peon/Mali/Trackman/Asst. Cook/Vendor/Sanitary Cleaner (Scouts & Guides): Grade Pay Rs.1800 in Pay Bank Rs.5200-20,200
3. Junior Clerk/Technician Grade-III (Cultural): Grade Pay Rs.1900 in Pay Bank Rs.5200-20,200

Selection Procedure

Scouts & Guides: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test & Personality test.

Cultural Quota: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test with knowledge of General Science.
