    MBSE (Mizoram Board of School Education) every year conducts the Mizoram TET exam for recruiting the candidates as a teacher in Mizoram government school for Classes I to V and Classes VI to VIII.     The Mizoram TET exam is conducted to assess the teaching ability and aptitude in candidates for primary teacher and upper primary teacher posts in Mizoram government schools. After qualifying Mizoram TET exam, candidates are given a passing certificate, which is valid for 5 years effective from the issuing date.     MBSE will accept Mizoram TET 2019 application form in offline mode only and all other application related activities such application fee, application filling, and submission will also be done in offline mode. Candidates, who are willing to appear in this exam, must go to the MBSE office and collect the application form after paying the application fee. The detail of application fee is as follows-

    During filling the Mizoram TET 2019 offline application form, candidates must have the following documents with them-

    • A passport sized photograph
    • Photocopies of 10th, 12th, and Graduation mark sheets & certificates

    Mizoram TET exam 2019 Exam Pattern

    The Mizoram TET exam 2019 will be conducted in two offline papers i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II and in pen and paper mode.  Objective type questions will be asked in both papers.  Each paper will consist of 150 MCQs and each question carries 1 mark. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers. Following are the details of Paper-I and Paper-II.

    • Paper-I: This paper is mandatory for those candidates, who want to become a teacher for Classes I to V in the Mizoram schools.
    • Paper-II: This paper is for those candidates, who aspire to become a teacher for Classes VI to VIII in the Mizoram schools.

    A candidate can appear in both the papers if he/she wants to teach the students of Classes I to VIII. The total duration of exam will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. The Mizoram TET exam pattern is as follows-

    Mizoram TET exam 2019 Eligibility Criteria

    In the Mizoram TET exam, there will be two papers namely Paper-I & Paper-II. The Paper-I exam will be organized for primary teachers and Paper-II will be for upper primary teachers. The eligibility criteria for primary teachers and upper primary teachers are described in the following table-

    • Class 12th with 45-50% marks and D.EI.Ed with 50% marks or B.EI.Ed with 50% marks
    • As per the latest NCTE rules, candidates who have passed B.Ed with 50% marks, can also apply for primary teacher posts.

     

    Upper Primary Teachers: (Paper-II)

    • B.A, B.Sc or B.Com with 45-50% marks and B.Ed with 50% marks
    • Candidates with Master’s degree and B.Ed. can also apply for Paper II exam.
