Most CBSE affiliated Schools as well as some state board schools have decided to sanction a 3-day holiday from 08 April 8 to 10 April 2014 to the students taking ongoing Class 10 & 12 Board Exams 2014, during election week.
The 08 April is marked as the day on which Ramnavmi will fall, while 10 April is the Lok Sabha election poll date, and 09 April is an ordinary day that is falling just between the two Holidays. The decision of closing the school for all 3 days at stretch has been decided.
Few more schools will not be able to declare a 3-day holiday, as they are unable to extend the examination dates. Hence, It is advised to Parents to keep a check for an official Circular issued by their ward’s schools, declaring the dates on which the respective school sanctions holiday on.
