The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Cochin an autonomous body under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 2 Group ‘A’ posts of Joint Director (Aquaculture) and Joint Director (Training) (one post each) with MPEDA Head office in Cochin on deputation basis for a period of 2 years. 1. Joint Director (Aquaculture): 1 post
Age limit: below 50 years (as on 21 March 2104)
Pay Scale: Pay Band 3 of Rs. 15600 - 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 7600
Eligibility Criterion: Officers in the Pay Band 3 with Grade pay of Rs. 6600 with 5 years experience in Prawn farming (Aquaculture)
Essential Qualifications: Masters Degree in Zoology/ Marine Biology/ Aquatic Biology/ Fisheries OR Degree in Aquaculture/ Agriculture/ Civil Engineer or equivalent;
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience of which at least 7 years should be in Senior Supervisory position in Fisheries Development/ Fisheries Research
Doctorate in Zoology/ Marine Biology/ Aquaculture or equivalent is desirable.
2. Joint Director (Training): 1 post
Age limit: below 50 years (as on 21 March 2104)
