National Institute of Occupational Health Notified recruitment to 9 various Posts 2014

National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad, under Indian Council of Medical Research issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 9 posts. Interested candidates should send their applications to the Institute by post so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 7 July 2014.

Vacancy Details

Total vacancies: 9 posts

1. Office Assistant: 2 posts

Pay Scale: PB-2 of Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4600 per month

Maximum Age limit: 28 years

Qualifications: Graduate with 5 years experience as Ministerial Staff in GP of Rs. 4200 in Central/ State Govt. or Public Sector Undertaking;

2. Personal Assistant: One post

Pay Scale: PB-2 of Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4600 per month

Maximum Age limit: 25 years

Qualifications: Graduate with minimum speed of 120 w.p.m. in English shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in English typing on Computers and 5 years experience as Secretarial Staff in GP of Rs. 4200 in Central/ State Govt. or Public Sector Undertaking;

3. Library Clerk: One post

Pay Scale: PB-1 of Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs.1900 per month

Maximum Age limit: 28 years

Qualifications: Matriculation or equivalent qualification and Certificate in Library Science with Typing speed of 35 wpm on computer. Diploma in Library Science;

4. Lower Division Clerk: 4 posts (likely to be increased)

Pay Scale: PB-1 of Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs.1900 per month

Maximum Age limit: 27 years

Qualifications: Class 12th or equivalent qualification with Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English on Computer;

5.  Lower Division Clerk (Hindi Typist): One post

Pay Scale: PB-1 of Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs.1900 per month

Maximum Age limit: 27 years

Qualifications: Class 12th or equivalent qualification with Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer;

NOTE: Upper age limit is relax-able up to 5 years for Govt. servants and for SC/ ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 10 years for PH candidates.

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of candidates performance in the competitive examination and interview

Only short-listed candidates will be called for test/ interview/ Personal discussion. 

Application Fees

Non-refundable application fee of Rs.100 is to be paid through a crossed demand draft drawn in favour of ‘the Director, NIOH, Ahmedabad’ payable at SBI Civil Branch, Ahmedabad.

SC/ST/PH and Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

NOTE: ICMR employees have to pay the fees.

Interested and eligible Departmental candidates should send their applications duly filled in Application forms along with the crossed DD and attested copies of required certificates to ‘the Director, National Institute of Occupational Health, Meghani Nagar, Ahmedabad 380 016’ through Regd. A.D./ Speed Post so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 7 July 2014.

Candidate who wishes to apply for more than one post should apply and pay the fee for each post separately.
