National Institute of Open Schooling invited application for recruitment to the post of Director (Vocational Education), Joint Director (Media), Deputy Director (Academic), Deputy Director (Administration), Assistant Director (Academic), Assistant Director (Administration), Accounts Officer, Section Officer (Direct), Section Officer (Deputation), EDP Supervisor and Graphic Artist. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 21 October 2013. The NIOS is a national board that administers examinations for Secondary and Senior Secondary examinations of open schools similar to the CBSE and the CISCE.

Age Limit

• The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application for Post No. 1, 5, 7, 9.
• The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 47 years as on the closing date of receipt of application for Post No. 2.
• The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 42 years as on the closing date of receipt of application for Post No. 3 & 4.
• The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 37 years as on the closing date of receipt of application for Post No. 6, 8, 10 & 11.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should posses Master Degree and Bachelor Degree with at least 55% marks in concerned specialty/Department from recognized university.

Application Fees
• Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.200/- for unreserved candidates
• And Rs.100/- for SC/ ST and OBC categories in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of Secretary, National Institute of Open Schooling, Payable at Noida.

Pay Scale

• (PB-4) Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.8700/- for Post No. 1 & 2.
• (PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600/- for Post No. 3 & 4.
• (PB-3) Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600/- for Post No. 5, 6 & 7.
• (PB-2) Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4600/- for Post No. 8 & 9.
• (PB-2) Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/- for Post No. 10 & 11.

Selection process

Candidate will be selected on the basis of Written Test/Interview.

• The form duly filled, signed, attached with demand draft and attested copies of certificates and latest passport size photograph may be sent by superscribing the post applied for on the envelope, to the Joint Director (Admin), National Institute of Open Schooling, A-24/25, Institutional Area, Sector-62, Noida - 201309, U.P.
• Candidates already working in Government service are required to submit their applications through proper channel in the prescribed format along with Vigilance Clearance; ACRs for the last five years duly attested on each page by a Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer; Details and nature of experience, and No Objection Certificate, to the effect that the candidate will be spared for joining NIOS in the event of selection.
