National Research Centre for Groundnut-ICAR Notified Recruitment for Farm Superintendent Posts 2014

Directorate of Groundnut Research (DGR), Junagarh under National Research Centre for Groundnut (NRCG), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to one post of Farm Superintendent (T-6, Senior Technical Officer) on temporary basis. Vacancy Details
1. Farm Superintendent (T-6, Senior Technical Officer): one post

Type of vacancy: the posts are temporary but likely to be permanent;

Pay Scale: Pay Band 3 of Rs.15600- 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400 per month.

Eligibility Criterion:

Age Limit:  up to 35 years.

(Maximum age limit is relax-able up to 3 years for OBC category candidates and up to 5 years for SC/ ST category candidates. There is no age limit for ICAR employees.)

Qualifications:  Master’s Degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science/ Social Science relevant to Agriculture or equivalent qualification.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the written test and Interview.

Selected candidates are liable to serve in any institute of ICAR, anywhere in India.

Travel Allowance: Unemployed SC/ ST candidates called for the test/ interview will be paid 2^nd class rail fare / bus fare on production of travel proof.

Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee of Rs.500 is to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Director, Directorate of Groundnut Research, Junagadh” payable at Junagadh 362001.

Candidates should mention their name and address on the reverse of the DD.

SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
