The NMC has released the NEET PG Seat Matrix 2026, offering 63,171 postgraduate medical seats across government, private, and deemed institutions. NEET PG Seat Matrix 2026: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the NEET PG Seat Matrix 2026. Candidates who are eligible for applying in the upcoming Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) NEET PG counselling schedule must check all the institute-wise and course-wise seats. Choice filling requires checking the capacity of the institute along with the branch. 63171 postgraduate medical have been released, which are distributed into government seats, deemed university seats and private seats, and each has an intake of 33082, 8197 and 21892, respectively.

Postgraduate medical choices are done based on speciality clinical fields, and the approved 2026–27 seat distribution highlights this preference. The single largest share belongs to M.D. General Medicine with 6,143 seats, which is followed by M.D. Anaesthesiology at 5,672 seats and M.S. General Surgery at 5,591 seats. The high-demand branches such as M.S. Obstetrics and Gynaecology (4690 seats) and M.D. Paediatrics (4203 seats) intake.
