NIACL AO Eligibility Criteria 2024: The New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL) has released the eligibility criteria for Administrative Officer (AO) along with the detailed notification pdf on its official website, newindia.co.in. All interested and eligible candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria, such as education qualification, age limit, etc., to successfully fill out the form.
All the candidates are requested to read all the eligibility criteria and submit the online form within the deadline. If at any stage of the examination it is found that the candidate has entered the wrong information and provided false details about their eligibility, then it will directly lead to the cancellation of their candidature.
NIACL AO Eligibility Criteria 2024
The information provided by the candidates while filling out the online application form are the basic information required at the time of application. At the time of interview, the candidates will be required to produce the relevant documents in original and a self-attested photocopy in support of their identity and eligibility pertaining to category, nationality, age, educational qualifications, etc. as indicated in the online application form.

NIACL AO Age Limit 2024
The age of the candidate should be between 21 and 30 years as of September 1, 2024, i.e., the candidate must be born not earlier than September 2, 1994 and not later than September 1, 2003, with both dates inclusive. The relaxation in age will be given to reserved category candidates. Check the table below for relaxation in the upper age limit of the reserved category candidates.
Note: In case of a candidate who is eligible for relaxation under more than one of the above categories, the age relaxation will be available on a cumulative basis based on Govt. guidelines & Company Rules subject to the maximum age not exceeding 45 years.

NIACL AO Educational Qualification 2024
Educational qualification is the very important factor in eligibility criteria. The cutoff date for fulfilling all the required educational qualifications is September 1, 2024. Check the list below for post wise required educational qualifications.
Generalists: A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of a graduate/postgraduate in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examinations for general candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Specialists: A candidate must possess the minimum qualification as listed in the table below. The qualification should be from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
Note: The percentage will be calculated by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all semesters/ year by aggregare marks in all the subjects. The candidate must have score 60% marks and 59.99% will be considered as less than 60%.

NIACL AO Nationality 2024
A candidate applying for recruitment of announced vacancies must be either
(a) a citizen of India,
(b) a subject of Nepal
(c) a subject of Bhutan,
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
