Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C) has announced first of its kind programme, "Post Graduate Certificate in General Management" (PGCGM) in collaboration with NIIT (a global leader in skills and talent development entered into an exclusive partnership). Both the prestigious institutes would offer this programme. The programme will be delivered through a combination of both online and offline mode. The online component will be in direct-to-device mode which will be delivered through the (an initiative of NIIT) learning platform. In addition, the programme will also have campus visit components at IIM Calcutta. Through this partnership NIIT and IIM Calcutta aims to create high-impact learning experience by bridging the gap between quality, affordability and accessibility.

In addition, the Post Graduate Certificate in General Management (PGCGM) will equip the participants with familiarity of the primary functional specializations in management and imbibe a global perspective. Eligibility for the programme required an applicant to have graduation and a qualifying score of CAT or GMAT in the past 3 years are eligible to apply for the programme.

It is important to note that the first batch will commence from February, 2017 onwards and the last date of registration is 30th November, 2016.
