National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore invites applications from the eligible candidates for fill up the following posts of “Junior Research Fellow, Laboratory Assistant and Post Doctoral Associate” on adhoc basis in CDC, USA funded Project entitled “Providing laboratory support for surveillance of Japanese encephalitis in India” under Dr.V.Ravi, Prof. of Neurobiology & Principal Investigator. Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria
- For Post 1
(i) Masters degree in Microbiology preferably Medical Microbiology and a good academic record.
(ii) Research experience desirable in Medical Virology/Clinical Molecular Biology lab.
- For Post 2
(i) PUC with diploma in Medical Lab Technology from a recognized Institution.
(ii) One year experience in a Clinical Microbiology/ Virology Lab lab.
- For Post 3
(i) Ph.D. in Virology/ Microbiology preferably Clinical Virology/ Medical Microbiology.
(ii) Post doctoral Research experience desirable in Medical Virology/ Clinical Molecular Biology lab.
Age Limit & Relaxation
Age Limit for the candidate should be 28 years for post 1 & 2 and 35 years for post 3 as on the closing date for receipt of the application.
Pay Scale/ Salary
Emoluments for the candidates is of Rs. 16,500/- for post 1, Rs. 8,000/- for post 2 and Rs. 38,000/- for post 3 plus 30% HRA Per Month.
Tenure of Appointment
Initial appointment will be made for a period of one year and same will be renewed yearly depending upon the performance of the candidate & extension of the project.
