NIPFP Recruitment 2016 for 05 Faculty Posts

National Institute of Public Finance And Policy (NIPF&P) invited applications for the post of Professor (RBI Chair) and Other Posts. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format and within 45 days (07 August 2016) from the date of advertisement in The Economic Times (all editions).

Eligibility for Professor (RBI Chair)- Ph.D in Economics .Demonstrable experience in successfully collaborating and/or leading research and or evidence based policy analysis as part of a research project or programme .Leading track record of consistent research publication in the peer-reviewed economics journals (iv)Ten years of experience in research or policy analysis in an area relevant to NIPFP’s current research and policy focus .National and international experience in partnering with government institutions and/or multilateral institutions .

Eligibility for Associate Professor - Two posts – to be filled on contractual basis initially for a period of two years - Ph.D in Economics .Demonstrable experience in successfully collaborating and/or leading research and/or evidence based policy analysis as part of a research project or programme .A minimum of 4 publications in the peer reviewed economics journals. Five years of experience in research or policy analysis in an area relevant to NIPFP’s current research and policy focus

Eligibility for Associate Professor (Data Bank) - one post – to be filled on contractual basis initially for a period of two years - Ph.D in Economics . Demonstrable experience in successfully collaborating and/or leading research and/or evidence based policy analysis as part of a research project or programme .A minimum of 4 publications in the peer reviewed economics journals .Five years’ experience in research or policy analysis in an area relevant to NIPFP’s current research and policy focus (v) Fair knowledge of Indian Public Finance, Data and Conceptual issues. Knowledge of other databases and sources of data used for public policy formulation

Eligibility for Assistant Professor- Ph.D in Economics .Demonstrable track record of research and/or policy analysis in the areas of macroeconomics and/or public economics .At least 2 publications in peer reviewed economics journals
