Eligibility Criteria for Scientific Officer & Scientific Assistant Posts

Educational Qualification

• Scientific Officer-D / (Medical Practitioner)- MD (General Medicine) / MD (Obstetrics & Gynecology) / MD (Pediatrics) Or MBBS with five years of clinical experience in hospital with more than 50 beds after obtaining degree.
• Scientific Officer-C-MBBS with PG Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology / Child Health Or MBBS with one year working experience in hospital of more than 50 beds.
• Scientific Assistant-C (Nurse-A)- Intermediate or 10+2 and 3 years diploma in Nursing & Mid-wifery with registration as ‘A’ Grade Nurse / BSc (Nursing)
• Scientific Assistant-B (Pharmacist)- HSC (10+2) with 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy granted by institution of the Central/State Govt.  Should be registered as a “Pharmacist” under the Pharmacy Act. 1948.

Age Limit for Scientific Officer & Scientific Assistant Posts  

• Scientific Officer-D / Scientific Officer-C (Medical Practitioner)- Not more than 40 years
• Scientific Officer-C- Not more than 35 years
• Scientific Assistant-C (Nurse-A)- Not more than 30 years
• Scientific Assistant-B (Pharmacist)- Not more than 30 years.
