North Malabar Gramin Bank Recruitment for Various Posts 2011

North Malabar Gramin Bank is a regional rural bank in India. It was established in 1976 as a Scheduled Commercial Bank as per Regional Rural Banks Act of 1976 to provide banking facilities for farming and non-farming sectors in North Malabar region. It invites applications for recruitment to the posts mentioned below.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualification

• Officer Scale II: Degree from a recognized university in any discipline or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing, and co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Experience: 2 years as an Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions.
• Officer Scale I: Degree from a recognized university in any discipline or its equivalent and Proficiency in Malayalam.
• Office Assistant: Degree from a recognized university in any discipline or its equivalent. Essential: Proficiency in Malayalam. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer skills.

Age Limit (as on 1 August 2011)

• Officer Scale II: Above 21 years but below 32 years
• Officer Scale I: Above 18 years but below 28 years
• Office Assistant: Between 18 years and 28 years

Pay Scale

• Officer Scale-II: Rs 19400-700/1-20100-800/10-28100
• Officer Scale-I: Rs 14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700
• Office Assistant: Rs 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300.

At present the total starting emoluments are approximately as follows:

• Officer Scale-II: Rs 31137
• Officer Scale-I: Rs 23273
• Office Assistant: Rs 11592

NOTE: Other allowances & perquisites will be admissible as per the rules of the Bank. 

Application Fee

• Officer Scale-II: Application fee for General, OBC and Ex- Servicemen candidate is Rs 550 and fee for SC/ ST/ PWD candidate is Rs 250.
• Officer Scale-I: Application fee for General, OBC and Ex- Servicemen candidate is Rs 50 and fee for SC/ ST/ PWD candidate is Rs 350.
• Office Assistant: Application fee for General, OBC and Ex- Servicemen candidate is Rs 50 and fee for SC/ ST/ PWD candidate is Rs 300.

Application fees need to be paid through the Challan Form available on the website http://www.nmgbank.com/ After filling up the required information on the Challan Form, they should make payment of the fee applicable to them in any branch of Syndicate Bank  for credit of account

Selection Procedure: The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of performance in written test and interview.
