Northern Railway, New Delhi Notified Recruitment for Deputy Legal Advisor Post 2014

Northern Railway, Ministry of Railways, Railway Board, New Delhi invited applications from eligible candidates/ officers, for filling up “Deputy Legal Advisor” post. Educational Qualification

Officers under the Central or State Govt. including Zonal Railways etc :

• Holding the analogous posts or equivalent on Regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
• With 05 years of experience of the regular service in pay band (PB - 3) Rs. 15,600 – Rs. 39,100/- plus grade pay of Rs. 6,600/- or equivalent;    and
• Possess Degree of Law or equivalent from the recognized University or Institution with appropriate work experience of 10 years in the State Judicial Service or in Legal Affairs. Or
• Possess Master Degree of Law with 10 years of relevant experience.

Age Limit

Maximum Age Limit for the appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as on last date of receipt of application.

Pay Scale

Pay Band (PB – 3) and Pay Scale is of Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600/- Per Month.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Test/ Trade Test/ Practical Test/ Skill Test/ Personal Interview, which might be conducted by the administration.

Interested Candidates/ Officers may apply with complete Bio- data in the prescribed format  along with the up to date photo copies of the of the ACRs/ APARs for the preceding five years, Integrity Certificate, Vigilance Clearance Certificate, Cadre Clearance and Major/ Minor Penalty Certificate of last 10 years (if any) and duly attested photo copies of relevant certificates/ testimonials in support of date of birth, qualifications, experience, category (SC/ ST/ PWD), etc. with a recent passport size photograph one must be affix on the application form (if reqd.) may be forwarded through proper channel to the “Deputy Secretary (Establishment), Room No. 536 – A, Rail Bhavan, Raisina Road, New Delhi - 110 001” within 60 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.
