Eligibility Criteria for Development Commissioner Posts

Joint Development Commissioner: Officers from Central Government Services including All India Services and organized group ‘A’ services, State Government Officers/Officers of Union Territories, PSUs, Autonomous bodies, Statutory bodies holding analogous post on regular basis with 05 years regular service with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/-.

Eligibility Criteria for Deputy Development Commissioner: Officers from Central Government Services including All India Services and organized group ‘A’ services, State Government Officers/Officers of Union Territories, PSUs, Autonomous bodies, Statutory bodies holding analogous post on regular basis with 05 years regular service with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- with experience in foreign trade, estate development and administration.

Age Limit for Development Commissioner

The maximum upper age limit should not exceed 56 years
