NVS 2019: Online Application Process

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has come up with total 251 vacancies for the posts of Principal, Assistant Commissioner (Administration), PGTs, Assistant and Computer Operator for the year 2019. Candidates should start applying for these posts from 15th January, 2019 till 14th February, 2019 ensuring that they possess/fulfill all eligibility conditions prescribed in the official notification released by NVS. A candidate may apply for more than one post if he is eligible and desires to do so. In such cases, the candidate will have to pay the requisite fee for all the posts applied for. However, within PGT category, a candidate shall apply only in one subject.

How to Apply for NVS 2019 Exam?

For your ease we have listed down step by step process and some relevant information needed while filling the application form. Let’s look at the Application Process for the various posts under NVS 2019 Recruitment Drive:

Step-1: Go to NVS website

Candidates are required to apply Online through Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti's website at www.navodaya.gov.in. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted:

Step-2: Read Instructions and Start filling the Application Form

The website will take you the link ‘https://cdn.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/1258/59383/Instruction.html’. Candidates need to read the instructions properly before proceed to the next step:

Step-3: Generation of User ID and Registration Password

The candidate should fill up all the desired information i.e. Personal Details, Contact Details, etc. correctly. Sign-up by filling-up Post applied, Name of applicant, Mobile No. and E-mail ID. After clicking SUBMIT button/ tab, the candidates will receive Application Sequence No (User ID) & Password on their E-mail ID.

Now, the candidate has to Click “Log Out” tab (given on top right corner) and re-login for next step. On completion of Step-3, Sign- Up mail will be received in candidate’s registered email id and mobile number confirming his signed-up along with the User ID (application sequence No.) and password.

Step-4: Re-Login with the User ID and Password

After signed-up, candidate has to Re-login and Click on “Go To Application” tab for filling-up Personal Details, Qualification Details, Eligibility Details, and Upload photo/signature/left thumb impression and Declaration etc.

Step-8: Scanning and Uploading of Photograph, Signature and Left Thumb Impression

Candidates should upload the scanned (digital) image of their photograph and signature as per the process given below. The applicant should note that only Jpg/jpeg format is acceptable:

1. Photograph Image:

  • Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture on light background (not older than 03 weeks)
  • Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
  • The size of the scanned image should be upto 80 kb in jpg/ jpeg format only.

2. Signature image:

  • The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black ink pen.
  • The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
  • Please scan the signature area only and not the entire page.
  • Size of file should be upto 80kb in Jpg/jpeg format only.

3. Left Thumb Impression image

  • The left thumb impression must be left hand thumb only by the applicant and not by any other person
  • Size of file should be upto 80kb in Jpg/jpeg format only.

Step-9: Make Online Payment

Candidate needs to re-login and click the link/tab “Make Online Payment” active after minimum 24 hours of submission of the application. Once SB Collect of State Bank of India portal is opened, then DO NOT click on Refresh or Back Button.

After uploading Photo Signature and left thumb impression images, Click on “Preview” tab and check whether particulars filled are correct in all respects. In case of any error, the same can be edited before finally clicking “SUBMIT” tab. Once Submit Tab is clicked then Application will be submitted and it will be showing on screen “Your application has been successfully submitted”. In addition, Sms/e-mail shall also be received by the candidate. If Fee applicable the payment of Application Fee tab “Make Payment” active after 24 hours submitted application form.

Steps to be followed in SB Collect portal for Online Payment:

1. System will redirect you on NVS Application Fee 2019 page of State Bank Collect Portal.

2. Kindly check & confirm the details shown on the screen i.e Application Seq No., Name, Mobile No, e-mail ID, post, category and amount, etc., then click on Submit/confirm Button.

3. Enter Application Sequence Number and Email ID. Then click on submit Button.

4. Select the Online Payment Option.

5. Kindly make the online payment via credit or debit card or Net banking and retain the transaction number for future reference.

Note:

  • Candidates are advised to keep with them the copy of the e-receipt as a token of remittance of fee for future reference.
  • Candidates are advised not to attempt for registration more than once. In case of multiple registrations, the one with the highest registration number will be considered as a final application.
  • After depositing the application fee through online mode, you may check the status of application form after 2 days. The candidates have to pay examination fee online through the prescribed link at online application. The post wise examination fee payable is as under:

Mode of Communication:

Candidates should have a valid personal e-mail ID and mobile number. It should be kept active during the entire recruitment process. Registration number, password, and all other important communication will be sent on the same registered e-mail ID (please ensure that email sent to this mailbox is not redirected to your junk/spam folder).

Step-10: Final Submission of Application

Before clicking on “Final submit”, make sure that you have filled all the details properly photograph and signatures are uploaded properly by checking previews of photograph and signature. Application once submitted cannot be withdrawn and fee once paid will not be refunded in any case, neither shall be held reserved for any other recruitment nor selection process in future.
