Oil India Limited Notified Recruitment to the Post of Drilling Engineers 2014

Oil India Limited (OIL) invited applications for recruitment to the post of Drilling Engineers on contract basis purely for Temporary requirement through a walk in interview. The candidates eligible for the post can attend the walk-in Interview scheduled on 9 July 2014.

The contract would be for about a period of two years, initially for a period of six months, extendable by another three six months term, depending upon requirement and the performance of the individual. OIL is the second largest hydrocarbon exploration & production (E&P) Indian public sector Company. It is engaged in the business of exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas, transportation of crude oil and production of liquid petroleum gas.

Pay Scale

• Drilling Engineer (D-01/14): Contract fee of Rs.80000/- + Rs.8000/- as accommodation allowance and Rs.1500/- as medical allowance per month
• Drilling Engineer (D-02/14): Contract fee of Rs.70000/- + Rs.7000/- as accommodation allowance and Rs.1500/- as medical allowance per month
• Drilling Engineer (D-03/14): Contract fee of Rs.60000/- + Rs.6000/- as accommodation allowance and Rs.1500/- as medical allowance per month

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidate must possess BE or B.Tech in Engineering or PGD in Petroleum Exploration or equivalent from a recognized Institute/University with post qualification relevant experience.
• Candidate should have knowledge on operation of the rigs and down hole complicacies and be able to take decisions relating to down hole and surface problems in drilling/workover wells, operating draw works and handling of brake.

Age Limit

• Drilling Engineer (D-01/14): Candidate maximum age should be 36 years as on 9 July 2014.
• Drilling Engineer (D-02/14): Candidate maximum age should be 32 years as on 9 July 2014.
• Drilling Engineer (D-03/14): Candidate maximum age should be 29 years as on 9 July 2014.

Selection process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in interview.
