Prasar Bharati Notified Recruitment for 5 Various Posts 2014

Doordarshan News unit at Vijayawada under Prasar Bharati, India’s Public Service Broadcaster invited applications for recruitment to 5 posts of Copywriter, Correspondent, Video post-production Assistant Grade-II (Video Editor), Broadcast Executive Grade-II  and Videographer (Cameraman).  Interested candidates should send their applications along with copies of required documents/ certificates by post to the DD Office, Hyderabad so as to reach the concerned authority within 21 days of publication of notification in Employment news i.e. on or before 27 September 2014.

Type of recruitment: on Contractual basis

1. Copywriter (Telugu) Grade-II: 1 post

Remuneration: Rs.25000 per month

Minimum Age limit: 21 years

Qualifications: PG Diploma in Mass Communication/ Journalism and/ or Graduation with Telugu and one year relevant experience.

2. Correspondent (Telugu with English knowledge): 1 post

Remuneration: Rs.17000 per month

Minimum Age limit: 21 years

Qualifications: Diploma in Mass Communication/ Journalism and one year relevant experience.

3. Video Post-production Assistant Grade-II (Video Editor): 1 post

Remuneration: Rs.17000 per month

Minimum Age limit: 21 years

Qualifications: Professional Diploma in Film and Video Editing.

4. Broadcast Executive Grade-II: 1 post

Remuneration: Rs.17000 per month

Minimum Age limit: 21 years

Qualifications: Graduate with Professional Diploma in Radio/ TV Production.

5. Videographer (Cameraman): 1 post

Remuneration: Rs.20000 per month

Minimum Age limit: 21 years

Qualifications: Diploma in Video-graphy and one year relevant experience.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Test/ Interview depending upon nature of job.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the Test/ Interview.

A panel will be formed of the selected candidates, who would be offered opportunity as per experience.
