PSA acted as a dosage from CBSE which changed the pen–paper test in Formative Assessment prevalent all those previous years. The PSA is conducted by the Board in the respective schools and the evaluation is done by the Board. The examination is conducted on the same day the Board provides with the Question Paper. This 90-minute test comprises of Questions other than those in textbooks. Questions usually arise from mathematics and an English passage from old essays or contemporary fiction.
