Raja Mansingh Tomar Music & Arts University, Gwalior invited applications from eligible candidates who fulfilling the requisite criteria for filling up the following below mentioned posts“Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor” under various disciplines.The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 15 July 2014.

Professor: 04 (01Post each for Music, Dance, Fine Arts & Theatre)

Associate Professor:  08 (02Posts each for Kathak Dance and Theatre, 01 Post each for Vocal Music, Painting, Sculpture, & Instrumental Music)

Assistant Professor: 08 (02 Posts each for Vocal Music and Theatre, and 01 Post each for Kathak Dance, Bharat Natyam, Painting & Sculpture)

Note: One Post General Category and One post for ST in case of 02 posts in particular discipline.

Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification:

(i) Ph.D/ Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized university.

(ii) Relevant experience in the field.

Age Limit & Relaxation: Age Limit and Relaxation for the candidate should be as per rules.

Pay Scale/ Salary

• Pay Band (PB – 4) and Pay Scale of Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/- plus Academic Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/- Per Month (for post 1) and Academic Grade Pay Rs. 9,000/- Per Month (for post 2).
• Pay Band (PB – 3) and Pay Scale of Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- plus Academic Grade Pay Rs. 6,000/- Per Month (for post 3).

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in theWritten Test/ Trade Test/ Practical Test/ Skill Test/ PersonalInterview, which might be conducted by the administration.
