REET 2025 Exam Schedule

REET Dress Code and Exam Guidelines Released
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has finalized preparations for the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) 2025, scheduled for February 27-28. To ensure transparency and prevent cheating, Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma's instructions will be strictly followed. For the first time, facial recognition technology will be used to match the candidate's photo on the admit card with the person present at the exam center via a barcode, and fingerprints will also be taken. CCTV surveillance and live monitoring will be in place at the centers. The exam center entrance will close one hour before the exam, and candidates are required to wear plain clothes and slippers or sandals. Metal jewelry and chains are prohibited.
Board Administrator Shri Mahesh Chandra Sharma has announced that the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) 2024 will be conducted on February 27 and 28 across all districts of Rajasthan. On February 27, the Level-1 exam will be held in the first shift and the Level-2 exam in the second shift, while on February 28, the Level-2 exam will be conducted in the third shift. A total of 14,29,822 candidates are registered for the REET exam. Of these, 3,46,625 candidates are registered for Level-1, 9,68,501 for Level-2, and 1,14,696 for both levels.

Guidelines for Candidates
The important instructions have been issued by the Board of Secondary Education for the candidates. According to these guidelines, candidates must bring the following to the exam hall:
- Admit card
- A blue or black transparent ballpoint pen
- A valid photo ID card such as Aadhar card, or if unavailable, a driving license, election ID card, or any other government-issued photo ID with a self-attested photocopy.
No other items will be permitted.
The following items are prohibited at the exam center:
Mobile phones, calculators, Bluetooth devices, watches, jewelry, wallets, handbags, diaries, etc. If a candidate brings such items, they must leave them outside the exam center at their own risk. The exam center will not be responsible for storing or securing these items.
Other guidelines/instructions for the candidates:
- Arrive at the exam center at least 2 hours before the exam for frisking and procedures.
- Entry allowed 1 hour before the exam. No entry after 9:00 AM for Shift 1 and after 2:00 PM for Shift 2.
- No candidate can leave the exam hall before the exam ends.
- Submit admit card with invigilator's signature and self-attested ID copy.
- Do not take the question paper; hand it over to the invigilator before leaving.
- Take only the OMR sheet (candidate’s copy) after submitting the original OMR sheet.
- Dress code: Shirts, t-shirts, kurtas, kurtis (without pockets), sweaters (without large buttons), and sandals/slippers with thin soles. No chains, buttons, or metal items.
- Unfair means will lead to legal action.
- Ensure only one circle is filled for each question on the OMR sheet; an extra 10 minutes will be given for this.
- Candidates with special needs get an additional 50 minutes. Scribe request must be made 2 days before the exam.

- Fancy accessories such as hairbands, clutches, etc.
