Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth Admission Notification 2012

Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth was established on 11 February 1988 with one of the objectives of promoting knowledge of Ayurveda and started functioning since 1991. It is an autonomous organization fully funded by the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi. It invites application from eligible candidates for admission to the course mentioned below.

Eligibility Criteria for admission in Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth

Educational Qualification: BAMS (Ayurvedacharya) or MD (Ay.)/ MS (Ay.) from any institution and university included in 2nd schedule of IMCC Act-1970. Internship should have been completed by 10 March 2012

Age Limit: Maximum 27 years (for Graduates); Maximum 30 years (for Postgraduates)

Selection Procedure for admission in Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth: Candidates will be selected on the basis of walk-in-Written Test and interview. There will be a Written Test of 100 single responses multiple choice questions (SRMCQ) from subjects of BAMS course. Each question carries one mark and the maximum marks are 100 and the duration of test will be 1 hour & 40 minutes.

The Interview will be for 20 marks (PG in Ayurveda-5 and Interview-15). Combined merit secured out of 120 marks will be the criteria for selection. In case of equal marks of candidates for a particular guru, the age will be taken into criterion and senior will be given preference.

The written test will be conducted at Shri Sanatan Dharma Saraswati Bal Mandir, Road No. 70, Punjabi Bagh (West), New Delhi-26. The interview will be conducted at Office of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth.

Application Fee: Application fee for General category candidates is Rs 1000, for OBC category candidates is Rs 750 and SC/ ST category candidates is Rs 500.

The fee needs to be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Director, Rashtirya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth payable at New Delhi and submit personally in the office of RAV on any working day or at the venue of Written Test on 11 March 2012 from 8 am to 10 am.
