RBI has notified of a major change in the scheme of selection for Assistant recruitment examination. The revised scheme includes two phase online exam followed by interview.
As per the recent changes announced by RBI related to the selection of Assistants candidates who shall qualify in Preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the Main examination will subsequently be called for Interview.
The preliminary examination will be of 1 hour and will comprise of questions related to English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The preliminary exam will carry a total of 100 marks.
The main examination will be of 02 hours and will carry a total of 200 marks. Question paper will comprise of reasoning, English language, quantitative aptitude, general awareness and computer knowledge.
Both preliminary and main examination will be objective type. Only those candidates who qualify prelims will be eligible to appear for main examination. Main examination will be conducted within two to three weeks of Preliminary examination.
The final selection round will be interview carrying a total of 35 marks.
