RBI is all set to conduct recruitment process for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (General). The candidates eligible for the posts are required to apply through online registration between 3 June 2014 and 23 June 2014. The written examination will be held on 2 August 2014, 3 August 2014, 9 August 2014, and 10 August 2014.

Social Structure in India – Multiculturalism – Demographic Trends – Urbanisation and Migration – Gender Issues – Social Justice : Positive Discrimination in favour of the under privileged – Social Movements – Indian Political System – Human Development – Social Sectors in India, Health and Education.
(iii) Paper III – Finance and Management:

Human Resource Development: Concept of HRD; Goals of HRD; Performance Appraisal – Potential appraisal and development – Feedback and Performance Counseling – Career Planning – Training and Development – Rewards – Employee Welfare. Motivation, Morale and Incentives: Theories of Motivation; How Managers Motivate; Concept of Morale; Factors determining morale; Role of Incentives in Building up Morale. NOTE: (1) The above syllabus is only indicative and not exhaustive. Keeping in view that candidates from different faculty backgrounds apply for the post, the questions in Papers II and III will be basic in nature.
