Regional Centre of Biotechnology (RCB), Gurgaon invited applications for recruitment to 15 posts on contractual basis in the project titled “Establishment of Biosafety Support Unit (BSU)”. The project is supported by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi. Total vacancies: 15 posts

Type of recruitment: on contract basis

Period of recruitment: one year initially.

1. Scientists: 3 posts

A. Agriculture Biotechnology: 2 posts

Any of the following disciplines: Agronomy/ Plant Breeding/ Entomology/ Plant physiology/ Plant Pathology/ Plant Genetics/ Soil Microbiology.

B. Medical Biotechnology: 1 post

Any of the following disciplines: Pharmacology/ Toxicology O Biochemistry/ Microbiology OR Veterinary Pharmacology OR Molecular Biology/ Genetics OR Fermentation Technology/ Analytical Chemistry OR Pharm.Biotechnology/ Drug Regulatory Affairs.

Remuneration: Rs.50000 per month to Rs.70000 per month (Consolidated)

Maximum Age limit: 35 years

Qualifications: Ph.D. in relevant subject with minimum 1 year post-doctoral work experience especially in regulation of biotechnology products.

2. Manager (Administration & Finance): 1 post

Remuneration: Rs.50000 per month to Rs.60000 per month (Consolidated)

Maximum Age limit: 45 years

Qualifications: Graduate with 15 years experience in Administration and Finance in supervisory position preferably in Government

3. Law Officer: 1 post

Remuneration: Rs.45000 per month to Rs.60000 per month (Consolidated)

Maximum Age limit: 35 years          

Qualifications: Graduate in Biological Sciences and LLB with minimum 4 years post LLB experience in techno-legal issues.

4. Technical Assistant: 3 posts

Remuneration: Rs.25000 per month to Rs.35000 per month (Consolidated)

Maximum Age limit: 30 years

Qualifications: Post Graduate in Biological Sciences with 2 years experience in scientific organization

5. Accountant: 1 post

Remuneration: Rs.20000 per month to Rs.25000 per month (Consolidated)

Maximum Age limit: 30 years

Qualifications: Graduate in Commerce with 2 years experience in relevant area and command over accounting software.

6. Data Entry Operator: 3 posts

Remuneration: Rs.18000 per month to Rs.20000 per month (Consolidated)

Maximum Age limit: 30 years

Qualifications: Graduate with Diploma in Computer Application with 2 years experience and good command in MS Office & typing.

7. Receptionist-Cum-Media Operator: 1 post

Remuneration: Rs.15000 per month to Rs.18000 per month (Consolidated)

Maximum Age limit: 30 years

Qualifications: Graduate with 2 years experience in relevant field and experience in handling media equipment/ Diploma in Computer Application

8. Multi-Tasking Staff: 2 posts

Remuneration: Rs.10000 per month (Consolidated)

Maximum Age limit: 28 years

Qualifications: Senior Secondary/ Intermediate with one year experience in relevant area

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the Interview.

 Candidates appearing for the interview should carry with them updated CV and original and attested photocopies of all relevant mark sheets/ certificates.
