As per the official notification, RRB JE CBT-1 Results have announced on its official website rrbcdg.gov.in. RRB also announced that Junior Engineer (JE) 2nd Stage CBT will be held from 28th August 2019 till 1st September 2019. Candidates will be shortlisted for CBT-2 exam on the basis of normalized marks obtained by them in CBT-1 Exam. Also, total number of candidates shortlisted for 2nd Stage CBT will be approximately 15 times the community wise total vacancy of Posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in 1st Stage CBT. RRB has announced total 13464 vacancies after adding Metro Kolkata Railways Vacancies and subtracting RRB JE Printing Press Vacancies. However, these numbers might get changed as the Railways reserve the right to increase/decrease this limit in total number of vacancies for the RRB JE 2019 Recruitment. Note:
- Virtual calculator will be made available on the Computer Monitor during 2nd Stage CBT.
- Negative marking for 1/3rd marks will be done for incorrect answers in 2nd Stage CBT.
- The section wise distribution of the questions given in the above table is only indicative and in the actual question papers there might be some variations.
- Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST -25%. These percentages of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates, in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
