RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: Good news for the government job seekers! The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have started the recruitment registrations for the Technician post. Students who possess the required eligibility can submit their application on or before 18 April 2024. A total of 9144 vacancies are available of which 8052 are for Technician Grade 3 and 1092 vacancies are for Technician Grade 1 Signal Posts.
The vacancies are available under RRB Ahmedabad, RRB Ajmer, RRB Prayagraj, RRB Bengaluru, RRB Bhopal, RRB Bhubneshwar and RRB Bilaspur.

RRB Technician Age Limit
As mentioned in the RRB Technician notification, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age is different for both the posts.
- The age limit to apply for Technician Grade 1 Signal Posts is 18 to 36 years.
- The age limit to apply for Technician Grade 3 posts is 18 to 33 years.
- Age relaxation will be provided to the reserved categories candidates.
RRB Technician Selection Process
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will conduct shortlisting of candidates for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination individually. Each RRB will follow a ratio of 1:1 corresponding to the vacancies available. The selection process will be based on the merit of the candidates in the Computer Based Test (CBT).
The marks obtained in CBT will be normalized in multiple shifts. Successful candidates for DV will receive notifications through SMS and email on the official RRB websites as well as their registered mobile numbers and email IDs. They will be prompted to download their e-call letters for the DV session. It is important to note that there will be negative marking in CBT, 1/3rd marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
