Eligibility Criteria for recruitment in SAIL Bokaro Steel Plant
Educational Qualification: Three years full time diploma in engineering from any government recognized institution/ polytechnic in the following disciplines:
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Metallurgy
- Civil
Age limit (as on 1 March 2012): Minimum 18 years, Maximum 28 years
Emoluments: Selected candidates shall undergo training for the period of two years which may be extendable by another two years as per requirement. They shall continue to work as trainees and acquire various skills. On successful completion of training, they may be regularized as Operator-cum-Technician in S-3 grade in the pay scale of ` 9160- 3%- 13150 and consolidated Pay of Rs 8250 per month during 1 year and Rs 9350 per month during the 2nd year of Training.
Selection Procedure for recruitment in SAIL Bokaro Steel Plant: The mode of selection shall include written test followed by interview of shortlisted candidates. The date, time, and venue of Written Test/ Interview will be intimated on the SAIL website.
