Sangeet Natak Akademi or The National Academy for Music, Dance and Drama (in English) is the national level academy for performing arts set up by the Government of India. Formed on 31 May 1952, the academy functions as the apex body of the performing arts in the country to preserve and promote the vast cultural heritage of India expressed in music, dance and drama. Eligibility Criteria for Recruitment in Sangeet Natak Akademi
Essential Qualification
- Cameraman: Diploma in Cinematography from the Film & Television body. Institute of India, Pune, or an equivalent institution recognised by the Central/ State Govt
- Recording Engineer: Diploma in Sound Engineering & Sound Recording from the Film & Television Institute of India, Pune, or from equivalent institution recognised by the Central/ State body
- Documentation Assistant: Degree from a recognized University AND Minimum 3 years experience in documentation preferably in audio visual archives
- Technical Assistant (Film): Diploma in Cinematography/ Photography from an Institute recognised by Central/ State Govts
Age Limit
- Cameraman/ Recording Engineer/ Documentation Assistant: Minimum 28 years; Maximum 35 years
- Technical Assistant (Film): Minimum 21 years; Maximum 28 years
