Fashion is the point of focus for the youth of the country because of globalization & modern outlook towards fashion of all and sundry. This has prompted certain institutions & universities to introduce Diploma in Fashion Design & Garment Technology (FD>) as a regular course.
Sanskriti Group is the only institute in Mathura-Agra region offering Diploma (FD>) as a full time course.
This unconventional course is increasingly becoming popular and many students are showing keen interest in pursuing this course. In fact, all approved seats at Sanskriti are completely filled up. The course has been developed keeping in mind application of technology and designing of garment since the market for dress material in multiple fashions is the trend of the day. Besides imagination, there are certain techniques viz. Dress Designing, Fashion Figure Drawing, Textile Designing, Leather Goods Designing and Fashion Illustration that need proper guidance.
Experienced & qualified faculty members guide the students theoretically & practically on different aspects of technology related to FD>. Also, noted fashion designers visit the institute as guest professors & deliver lectures on nuances of fashion designing & practically demonstrate how different designs can be developed for satisfying the customers representing different demographics sections of the society.
There has been revolution in the fashion designing with the advent of television. Fashions of different countries can now be seen by the citizens of the remotest corners of the country.
We all know that eyes get tired on repeatedly seeing the same thing and this phenomenon can be applied to fashion as well. When people have affordability, they want to make frequent changes in styles of the dresses they wear. This necessitates designing of dresses in new styles.
Some of the designs have mass appeal that leads to ‘fad’ i.e. people craving for the dress and ready to purchase the same at high price. Fad reaches the peak of sales at a very short time and fades away at equally short time. It has a very short life-cycle. One fad is replaced by the other in quick succession and hence the dress designers are kept busy producing dresses in new styles as often as may be necessary based on demand.
Fashion designing is an art that requires great skill on the part of the designer who can stretch his/her imagination to get the right combination of colors, style etc. that can meet the existing demand of the market and also influence additional demand.
Training and Placement department of Sanskriti Group is not only focusing on the conventional courses but also attaching due importance to unconventional branches like Fashion Design & Garment Technology.
Mr. Sachin Gupta, Chairman, Sanskriti Group of Institutions, congratulated the students on their selection in a reputed organization. He advised the students to learn the intricacies of Fashion Designing & establish themselves in the professional career as competent Fashion Designers.
