Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR (SDSC SHAR) is a leading Centre of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and has a unique combination of facilities of Solid Propellant Production Plant, a Rocket Motor Static Test facility, launch Complexes for variety of rockets, Telemetry, Tele-command, Tracking, Data Acquisition and processing facilities and other support services.

Besides, medical facilities for self and dependants; subsidized canteen; free transport (in lieu of transport allowance); housing facility (in lieu of HRA), Leave Travel Concession; Group Insurance etc are also provided by ISRO to its employees.
Selection Process: Candidates would be shortlisted for interview on the basis of their academic qualifications.
Stipulated experience, wherever applicable, will be reckonable only after acquiring the essential qualification.
[The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for interview.]
For the post of Medical Officer ‘SD’:
• Candidates are expected to attend to general duties including shift/emergency duties.
• Candidates registered with Medical Council of State may also apply, subject to production of registration certificate with Medical Council of India at the time of joining, if selected.
• Any foreign Post Graduation Degree should be ratified by Medical Council of India as equivalent to Indian Medical Council recognized MD (General Medicine).
Initially, candidates would be posted at SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota. However, they are liable to be posted / transferred to any of the Centre / Unit of the Indian Space Research Organization / Department of Space situated anywhere in India, as and when required.
Travelling Allowance: Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid to and fro Second Class Railway Fare or normal bus fare, whichever is less, on production of proof of journey such as the Railway Ticket Number / PNR Number or Bus Ticket etc. Sleeper class fare will be paid subject to production of Railway ticket copies only.
Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents, including No Objection Certificate, if employed already, in proof of details furnished in their applications submitted on-line, at the time of interview / as and when required. If any information furnished on-line is found to be wrong or false, the candidate will not be interviewed and TA will not be paid.

• Eligible applicants can apply Online by clicking “Apply” on link page The online registration site will be accessible from 08/09/2012 (1000 hrs) till 24 September 2012 (1700 hours).
• On registration / successful submission of online Application form, an on-line Registration slip with a unique Registration No. would be generated. Candidates should take a printout of this Registration Slip and keep a record of the same for future reference.
• Candidates should also have a Valid E-mail ID as all correspondence shall be done through E-mail only.
• After successfully submitting application online, candidates are required to take a print out of the Application Form, paste his/her recent passport size photograph, put his/her signature at the required space, attach attested copies of requisite certificates/documents and send it by Ordinary Post to “Administrative Officer Recruitment Section Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR Sriharikota – 524 124 Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh” so as to reach the office within 15 days of online registration OR in other case not later than 09 October 2012.
• Applications made through any other mode / will not be accepted. Incomplete applications / applications received after last date will not be entertained.
