Eligibility Criteria for Teaching Jobs 2015

Educational Qualification

• Professor: An eminent scholar with Ph.D.  qualification(s)  in  the  concerned/  allied  / relevant  discipline  and  published  work  of  high  quality,  actively  engaged  in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and / or research / policy papers.
• Associate Professor (Physical Education): A  Master's  Degree  in  Physical  Education  with  a  minimum  of  55%  marks  (or  an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)
• Associate Professor: Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned / allied / relevant disciplines. A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or  an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
• Assistant Professor (Physical Education):A Master's Degree in Physical Education with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed); and b)  Any  other  stipulated  prescribed  by  the  UGC  /  such  other  affiliating  body  /  State Government, from time to time for the positions of Principal and lecturers shall be mandatory.
• Assistant Professor (Music Discipline):Good  academic  with  at  least  55%  marks  (or  an  equivalent  grade  in  a  point  scale wherever  grading  system  is  followed)  at  the  Master’s  degree  level,  in  the  relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian/Foreign University.
• Assistant Professor (General): Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
• Director (Technology), Professor (Technology), Associate Professor (Technology) & Academic Coordinator (Technology): Ph.D.  or  equivalent degree  in  Engineering/ Technology  And  B.E./ B.Tech. & M.E./ M.Tech. in  Engineering  or Technology  with  First Class or equivalent either at B.E./ B.Tech. or M.E. / M.Tech. Post  Ph.D.  publications and  guiding  Ph.D. students  is  highly desirable.
• Assistant Professor (Technology): B.E./  B.Tech.  &  M.E./ M.Tech.  in  Engineering/ Technology  with  First Class or equivalent either in B.E./ B.Tech. or M.E./ M.Tech. For  the  post  of Biotechnology,  M.Sc.  in Biotechnology  or  Botany with  at  least  55%  or equivalent  grade  and NET/SET/SLET.
• Co-ordinator Executive Education (Management Science) & Placement and Corporate Relation Officer (Management Science): First Class or equivalent in Masters  Degree  in Business  Administration or  equivalent.  Ph.D.  or equivalent  in  appropriate discipline. Post  Ph.D.  publications and guiding Ph.D. student is highly desirable.
• Director (Skill Development Center) – (A)  i.  A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks [or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed]
• Assistant Professor (Skill Development Center – IT/ITes, Automotive, Automation) – B.E./  B.Tech.  &  M.E./  M.Tech.  in Engineering/ Technology with First Class or  equivalent  either  in  B.E./  B.Tech.  or M.E. / M.Tech.
• Assistant Professor (Skill Development Center – Retail Management, Jewellery Design & Gemology) Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55%  marks  (or  an  equivalent  grade  in  a point  scale  wherever  grading  system  is followed) at the Master’s degree level in relevant  subject  from  an  Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
