SBI Clerk Exam 2014: Eligibility Criteria

    State Bank Of India (SBI) will shortly conduct its popular exam,  SBI Clerk Exam 2014 for recruitment to the post of Assistant in Clerical Cadre. Interested candidates have to apply online by the Bank’s Official website, http://www.sbi.co.in from 26 May 2014 to 14 June 2014. Complete eligibility criteria is provided below, go through the below information.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Educational Qualification: (As on 31 August 2014)
    A Graduate Degree from a recognised university, or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central/State Government. Those who are in the final year of Graduation/Semester may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation Examination on or before 31 August 2014.

    Age Limit: (As on 01 May 2014)

    • Minimum Age : 20 years
    • Maximum Age : 28 years

    Candidates born between 02 May 1986 and 01 May 1994 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.

    Age Relaxation for Different Categories

    • SC / ST: 05 Years
    • Other Backward Classes (OBC): 03 Years
    • PWD (Gen): 10 Years
    • PWD (SC /ST): 15 Years
    • PWD (OBC): 13 Years
    • Persons domiciled in Kashmir Division of Jammu & Kashmir State during the period from 01 January 1980 to 31 December 1989: 5 years
    • Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen: Actual period of service rendered in defence services + 3 years
    • Widows, Divorced women and women: 9 year
