Online application process has been extended for SBI SO recruitment 2016. Candidates can now register themselves for the recruitment process and pay the fee till 31 October.
State Bank of India / SBI has extended application for recruitment to the post of Specialist cadre Officer. Earlier the Bank had fixed the last date of submission to be 22 October.
For all posts other than Assistant Manager (Technician & System), Manager (Statistician), Tester, Test Lead and Developer the last date for submission of hardcopy of the application along with enclosure is 04 November.
In addition to this, SBI has also included certain changes in the educational qualification criteria for SO recruitment.
It is important for all candidates to note that for posts of Developer, Test Lead, Tester, Technology Relationship Manager, Admin Support Officer, Application Architect, Data warehouse Architect, Infrastructure Architect, Portal Architect, Technology Architect, Infrastructure Engineer, Technical Engineer, Network Engineer, Complaint/ Dispute Resolution Officer, IT Security Expert, Business Analyst, Technical Lead, Innovation Specialist, Data Scientist, Sourcing Analyst, UX Designer and WAS Administrator MCA has been included in the educational qualification criteria.
Candidates interested and eligible to apply for SBI SO recruitment are required to apply at the official portal of the Bank (sbi.co.in). Applications are primarily invited from engineering graduates, though eligibility criteria vary for each and every post. Applicants are thus suggested to go through the eligibility criteria in detail.
For all regular positions (System Officers, Developers, Test Lead, Tester and Statistician) SBI will conduct online test (tentatively on 25 November) and interview. Exam pattern can be found from below:
It is for the information of the candidates that except professional knowledge paper, other papers will be of qualifying nature. Candidates have to score minimum marks in these papers which will be decided by the Bank. The questions in this paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English), in which candidates will have to answer the questions either in Hindi or English (except for English Language).
For Contractual posts, selection of the post will be done by short listing and interview.
