Candidates interested in pursuing research in Cryptology should can online through RAC website www.rac.gov.in on or before 18 April 2014.

Vacancy Details

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Total Vacancies: 9 posts

Tenure of fellowship: initially two years; can be extended up to a maximum of 5 years (as SRF – Senior Research Fellow after two years as JRF)

1. Mathematics: 6 posts

Stipend: Rs. 16000 per month

Maximum Age limit: 28 years

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Mathematics with knowledge of Computer Programming in C/ C++.

2. CSE/ IT/ CS: 3 posts

Stipend: Rs. 16000 per month

Maximum Age limit: 28 years

Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech. in Computer Science a& Engineering (CSE)/ Information Technology (IT) or M.Sc. in Computer Science.

NOTE: Candidates who have qualified NET/ GATE will be preferred.

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the written test/ Interview.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test/ Interview. Candidates called for the Interview will be required to bring all documents / certificates in original as well as one set of self-attested photocopies and one passport size photograph.

Schedule for written test/ Interview will be uploaded on RAC website www.rac.gov.in.

Selected candidates will be required to join SAG within 2 weeks of the issue of the offer letter.

Application fees

Non-refundable application fees of Rs. 10 is to be paid either online or through a crossed IPO drawn in favour of “Director, SAG, Metcalfe House, Delhi – 110 054”.

SC/ ST/ PH / women candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates interested in pursuing research in Cryptology can apply online through RAC website www.rac.gov.in within 21 days from publication of this notification in the Employment News i.e. till 18 April 2014 as the notification was published in Employment News dated 29 March 2014.

After submitting the online application form, an Acknowledgement Receipt and Candidate’s ID will be generated by the system. Candidates should take the print-out of the generated Acknowledgement Receipt and ID for future reference.
