Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) Notified Recruitment for Various Posts 2014

Software Technology Parks of India invited applications for the recruitment to various posts of Member Technical Staff E-III. SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY PARKS OF INDIA (An Autonomous Society under Govt. of India, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Department of Electronics and Information Technology). Appointment made on Direct Recruitment basis shall be on contract basis for a period of three years, which is likely to be regularized/extended/terminated depending upon the performance of the candidate during contract service.

Post Details

1. Name of the post: Member Technical Staff E-III (Scientist ‘D’)

• Pay Band and Grade Pay : PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) GP-Rs.7600/-
• No. of Vacancies: 07 (3-UR, 3-OBC, 1-ST)
• Upper Age Limit: 

a.For appointment on transfer (absorption) basis -56 years

b.For appointment on direct recruitment basis - 40 years (Relaxation applicable as per Govt. of India rules)

• Qualification & Eligibility Criteria:
• For Direct Recruit

First Division in B.E./ B.Tech in Electronics/ Computers/ IT or equivalent OR Masters’ in Computers/ IT/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Physics from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent OR Graduation in Electronics/ Computer/ IT or equivalent with Three years Diploma in Engg./ Technology in related field from a recognized University/ Institution.

Experience (post qualification)– 8 years in the relevant field.

 OR

First Division in M.E./ M.Tech in Electronic/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution.

Experience (post qualification)– 5 years in the relevant field.
OR

Ph.D. in Science/ Engineering in any of the above mentioned inter-disciplinary discipline from a recognized University/ Institution.

Experience (post qualification)– 3 years Industrial/ Research experience in the relevant field.

• For Transfer (absorption)

In case of transfer (absorption) officers of the Central/ State Government/ PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies:

i) holding analogous post on regular basis

OR

having 5 years regular service in PB-3 [Rs. 15600-39100] with the Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-

AND

ii) Possessing qualifications prescribed for Direct Recruits as above.

2. Name of the post: Member Technical Staff E-II (Scientist ‘C’)

• Pay Band and Grade Pay : PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) GP-Rs.6600/-
• No. of post :  06 ( 4-UR, 1-SC, 1-OBC)
• Upper Age Limit: 
  a.For appointment on transfer (absorption) basis - 56 years
  b. For appointment on direct recruitment basis 35 years (Relaxation applicable as per Govt. of India rules)
• Qualification & Eligibility Criteria:
• For Direct Recruit:

 First Division in B.E./ B.Tech in Electronics/ Computers/ IT or equivalent OR Masters’ in Computers/ IT/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Physics from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent OR Graduation in Electronics/ Computer/ IT or equivalent with Three years Diploma in Engg./ Technology in related field from a recognized University/ Institution.

Experience (post qualification) – 4 years in the relevant field.

OR

First Division in M.E. / M.Tech in Electronic/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution.

Experience (post qualification) – 2 years in the relevant field.

OR

Ph.D. in Science/ Engineering in any of the above mentioned inter-disciplinary discipline from a recognized University/ Institution.

• For Transfer (absorption)

In case of transfer (absorption) officers of the Central/ State Government/ PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies:

Holding analogous post on regular basis

or

Having 5 years regular service in PB-3 [Rs. 15600-39100] with the Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-

and

ii) Possessing qualifications prescribed for Direct Recruits as above.

Selection Procedure:

Received Application shall be screened and screened-in candidate shall be called for Personal Interview. Candidates recommended by the Selection Committee shall offered appointment.
