Eligibility Criterion
Age limit: (as on 1 January 2014)
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 30 years
[Upper age limit is relax-able by 3 years for OBC category candidates and by 5 years for SC/ST category candidates]
Qualifications
Educational: Class 10th pass/Matriculation or ITI or equivalent qualification
Scouting qualifications: A President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge OR Pre-HWB Trained Scout Master/Advanced Trained Guide/Leader/Captain; should have been an active member of Scout Organization for at least 3 years in the recent past and should continue to be active; should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two event at State level OR have a good record of participation in Scout & Guide activities at Unit/District Level.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the written test, skill assessment and Interview.
SC/ST candidates called for written test, skill assessment and Interview will be issued free second class pass from the nearest railways station indicated in application to the place of recruitment exam.
Examination fee: Non-refundable Examination fee of Rs.100 is to be paid in the form of a crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of ‘Senior Divisional Finance Manager, Secunderabad division, Secunderabad’ payable at Secunderabad/Hyderabad.
SC/ST/PH/ex-Servicemen/female/minority/economically backward OBC candidates are exempted from payment of examination fees.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should send their application, in the prescribed format, along with fee IPO in original and attested copies of relevant certificates to ‘The Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, 4th floor, Sanchalan Bhavan, Secunderabad–500071’ by ordinary post so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 21 March 2014.
On the envelope carrying the application, candidates should super-scribe ‘Application for recruitment to Group ‘D’ posts against Scouts & Guides quota for the year 2013-14- SC Division.’
