Eligibility Criteria for Judge Attorney General (Deputy Inspector General) and Other Posts Job
Educational Qualification:
Judge Attorney General (Deputy Inspector General): Officer of the Central Government or State Government or Union territories or Central Armed Police Force including Sashastra Seema Bal, having a degree in law from a recognized University or equivalent- holding analogous post in the Pay Band 4 with Grade pay of Rs.8900/- or equivalent on regular basis in the parent cadre or an officer who is a member of the State Judicial Service holding analogous post in the pay Band 4 with grade Pay of Rs. 8900/- or equivalent having fifteen years of experience in dealing with legal matters or court case or with two years regular service in the grade of Commandant or equivalent in the Pay Band 4 with grade pay of Rs.8700/- or equivalent with fifteen years of experience in dealing with legal matters or court cases
Additional Judge Attorney General (Commandant): Officer of the Central Government or State Government or Union territories or Central Armed Police Force including Sashastra Seema Bal, having a degree in law from a recognized University or equivalent holding analogous post in the Pay Band 4 with Grade pay of Rs.8900/- or equivalent holding analogous post in the Pay Band with Grade pay of Rs. 8700/- or equivalent on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department having fifteen years of experience in dealing with legal matters/court cases or with ten years regular service in the grade of Pay Band -3 with grade pay of Rs.7600/- having fifteen years of experience in dealing legal matters /court cases or with ten years regular service in the grade of Pay Band-3 with grade pay of Rs.6600/- having fifteen years of experience in dealing with legal matters/court cases or an officer who is a member of the State Judicial Service holding analogous post in the Pay Band-4 with the Grade Pay of Rs. 8700/- or equivalent having fifteen years of experience in dealing with legal matters/court cases
Judge Attorney General (Deputy Commandant): Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories Police or Central Armed Police Force including Sashastra Seema Bal, having a degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent- holding analogous post in the Pay Band -3 with Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department or an officer who is a member of the State Judicial Service holding analogous post in the Pay Band -3 with grade pay of Rs. 6600/- having six years of experience dealing with legal matters/court cases or with six years regular service in the grade of Assistant Commandant or equivalent in the Pay Band -3 with Grade pay of Rs. 5400/-. Having five years experience in dealing with legal matters/court cases
