SSC has cancelled the candidature of 5792 candidates in the CHSL 2015 Result. The Tier 1 result was declared on 29 July 2015. New exam pattern has been notified by the Commission. Tier 2 exam is on 18 September.
Citing the reason of appearing examination twice, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has cancelled the candidature of 5792 candidates. The Commission has considered appearing more than once in the examination as intent to secure unfair advantage by violating the terms set. The Commission has stated that,
Out of the 5792 candidates, though 334 candidates had qualified the exam their result was kept under suspension. The results were not evaluated for 253 candidates.
The Commission has introduced a major change in the examination pattern of Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination. SSC has introduced Tier 2 exam. In this, candidates have to appear for descriptive paper (100 marks). The examination will be pen and paper mode and will be of 1 hour duration.
Tier 3 exam will be held thereafter and will be of qualifying nature. Merit list will be on the basis of the score obtained in Tier 1 and Tier 2.
Candidates should be made aware that, the Tier 2 examination will comprise of Essay writing (200-250 words) and Letter/ Application writing (150-200 words). The paper can be answered in Hindi or English.
Important Note for Candidates
Candidates, who are eligible to appear for Tier 2 exam, are required to give an undertaking stating that they have appeared in the Tier 1 exam, only once. Failing to submit the undertaking or submitting a false undertaking can lead to cancellation of candidature.
