Examination Fees: Candidates have to pay fee of Rs.50 by means of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)". These stamps are available at all departmental Post Offices of the country. Candidates have to paste these Recruitment fee stamps at the top of the application (in the space provided) and get it cancelled from the counter clerk of any post office including the post office of issue with the date stamp of post office in such a manner that the impression is clear and distinct to facilitate the identification of the date and the post office of issue at any subsequent stage.
[Women / SC / ST / Ex-S / Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of fees. Remission of fee is also allowed to those repatriates from Kuwait / Iraq who are not in a position to pay it.]
Selection Procedure
Final Selection would be done on the basis of Candidates’ performance in Interview/ Personality Test/ Skill Test.
From among the applicants, Commission may shortlist candidates for Interview/ Personality Test/ Skill Test either on the basis of their educational qualifications, academic records, percentage of marks etc. or by holding a Proficiency Test in appropriate subject for any of the categories of posts, on the Commission’s discretion or by holding a Screening Test.
These candidates will have to appear for a written proficiency test / Screening Test (if conducted by the Commission) before appearing for the Interview.
If the proficiency test / Screening Test is held, than only those candidates who qualify in the test will be allowed to appear for the Interview. Final select list would be prepared in order of merit on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the proficiency test / Screening Test (if applicable) and the Interview.
The Commission may consider conducting the Screening Test / Proficiency test on the same date or different date(s), at its discretion.
Detailed program / schedule of screening test, if held, will be posted on Commission’s website. Candidates are, therefore, advised to visit the regional website from time to time in their own interest.
The Interview / Personality Test will be structured in such a manner that the candidates` Interests, knowledge, various traits, aptitude, suitability etc. are probed, among other things, through academic qualifications, extracurricular activities, general awareness / knowledge, depth of knowledge of the subject studied on the level of ‘Essential Qualification’ for the post, communicative skill and personality etc.”
Travelling Allowance (TA): Only SC / ST candidates called for interview will be paid TA.

Category No. and Advt. No. of the post should be clearly indicated in the Application.
One envelope should contain only one application of one applicant only.
Applicants should submit only one application against a particular category.
Separate applications should be submitted for separate categories.
